Realisation... 3.

Do you know the feeling like a deflated balloon?

Yea, I was kind of experiencing it. I dunno why I'm always the submissive one, probably because I didn't want to aggravate or hurt other people's feelings. Or so I perceived. Thus, I ended up hurting my own feeling.

Whenever I suggested an idea - places to eat or hang out - I have that one friend always like to challenge my idea without any base. I'm totally fine with it if you could at least research about the places that I suggested. But no, that one friend would comment like "Is the food nice?".

I would say this question is really based on one's preferences. I might like it but maybe you don't? And the problem is the idea I suggested might be the places I haven't been there before, I just randomly saw it from the social sites. Why can't you take the risk and give it a try? If it's bad, then we don't revisit; but what if it's good? Life needs surprises sometimes.

Houjicha latte.
It smelled and tasted good but the texture can be smoother.

So we ended up going to the cafe I suggested. I said no topics regarding jobs but you know auditors, full of negative vibes - feeling imbalance of what they're doing because the jobs they do are usually pointless. I get the same old shit they rant. And usually I just nodded along because I don't understand the jargon they said. My job isn't nice to deal with either. But no one bothers/interested to what my job is. To be honest, I don't feel like talking about it during gathering. We're supposed to talk about fun things.

不管你是人生赢家还是彻头彻尾的loser,我为什么劝你一定要去参加同学聚会?
And about gathering, seriously, I urge everyone to join whenever there's any. Because it lets you see how far have you progressed or how slow you are as compared to your peers. For the latter one, you know it's time for you to work extra hard. It hits me really hard when they discussed about travelling with family. I have been working for 3 years, never once I paid fully for my parents to go for a trip. Whereas my friends, they discussed about sponsor flight tickets & accommodation & bla bla bla for their parents. While I had monologue going on in my mind - I only manage to support myself to a trip. Last year, my face was thick enough to follow my parents to go Krabi without paying a penny. Sigh. Life...

Fluffed Café & Dessert Bar @ Taman Paramount, PJ

When talked about fluffed, my mind is full of something that is fluffy - cotton candy, something that is in creamy colour... And the cafe below is offering food that is exactly like its shop's name.

There are photo spots here and there, even outside of the cafe.

The logo on the door are super cute too!
I was so embarrassed to take the photo nearer.
People from the inside can see me!

The interior.
We went on weekday, so the shop is quite empty.
So we took photos like nobody's business.

One of the decors in the shop and I like the most!

The waiting number with the dried flowers decor.

Rose cloud cake - recommended by other bloggers. RM11
Most of the girls will like it - regardless of the appearance or the taste.
It was so dreamy, like the kind of food that will only appear in a fairy tale.
The cake is decorated with a slice of strawberry and shredded rose petals,
and when you take a bite of it, there are lychees and nata de coco inside!
So the taste is pretty surprising too.

The monkey king. RM18
The ice-cream is dark chocolate flavor!
Ohh, and the banana is coated with a layer of caramel.

Pooh Bear's Favourite, recommended by the waitress.
Waffle topped with honey caramel ice-cream and assorted fruits.

By now you should have realise, their foods are all named after the characters' from the cartoons that we used to watch when we were younger.

- 2014: Japan Trip Final Part -

As usual, I'll let the photos speak.

Toji Temple 東寺

We went to the flea market that held on every 21st of the month at Toji Temple.

Ceramics arts.

These were made of woods.

Colourful beads.

Vintage accessories.

These cats are adorable!

These were made from the seedpod of the lotus.

The dragonflies were meticulously crafted.

Train station.
The train was never late!

You may Google search for the flea markets available in Japan.

Arashiyama 嵐山

The weather was so good! And this was my favourite place of all, with clear sky and greenery everywhere.

Croquette (コロッケ)
It was finger-licking good.
Gosh, I missed the taste of it.

My travel companions. :)

Candid shot.

We met a weird uncle here.
The weather is cooling despite the bright sun, but I'm the only one wearing shorts.
So that uncle kept nagging me for wearing shorts, bla bla bla...

The garden, simply magnificent. Though we need to pay entrance fee to get in.

Wasn't in a good mood. :(

Stairs that led to nowhere.

Takebayashi = bamboo forest.

We found this hidden spot at the top of the hill.

Kyoto Underground Mall

We were starving after spent 1 whole day in Arashiyama.
We ordered okonomiyaki & yakisoba.
Realised we were all small eater, or maybe the portion was big.

We went to buy postcards and wrote messages when we back to hostel.

The hostel that we stayed in. - Piece Hostel.
Cozy place!

Kiyomizudera 清水寺

I like this shot! :D

We didn't get to walk on the street that was nearby Kiyomizudera. There were throngs of tourists & students. It was such a good weather to have field trip!

Gion

 These things play music.

An old camera being made into a clock!

This girl, said she doesn't take tourist-kind of photo. =_=

We were so lucky to get a glimpse of geisha!

Sulky face.

Sensei's house @ Izumisano

Last breakfast before we left.
Prepared by sensei.

Home

The above were the things I bought from Japan. I like the watch, didn't do the currency translation when I purchased it. I only start calculated how much I had spent when I went back to hostel that night. The watch was expensive! But I guess it's okay, because it is one and only. :D

p/s: I missed Japan already. :(
Hope to be there again next year, 2016. I'll grant my own wish. :)
