Why writing sad post is easier than a happy one?

Planning to come back here with positive vibes. But no, only when I feel down I remember the fact that I have a blog. This is so pathetic. I made this place of mine a negative emotion outlet.

Why writing something depressed is easier than writing something delightful? People tend to share sad things rather than happy things?

But I decided not to engulf in negative vibes. So let's talk about being grateful.

Have got a 4 days long weekend, but damn, today is already Sunday, oops, it's already Monday, and I feel like I have achieved nothing. I should set out a plan or to-do list, to keep myself in track. However, on the first day of my holiday, I went for a movie marathon. Well, it was kind of unexpected, because I only planned to watch "IT".

You'll float too.

Turned out "IT" wasn't that scary. I didn't know what the story was about, all I ever knew was people kept sharing illustration of a clown under a sewer in Facebook, and illustrating if the sewer is in Malaysia, guess the clown couldn't have the chance to show his face as the sewer would be clogged by rubbish on the road. "IT" wasn't scary but some of the scenes were grossed. Like the one in the bathroom, where the blood gushed from the sink like water fountain and turned the entire bathroom into bloody red room. I like the story revolved around "fear" because the clown gained energy from fear. If you're not afraid, he couldn't do anything to hurt you. It's controversial that clowns are losing their jobs due to this movie. Well, that's because the Pennywise clown is not likeable and has a horrible teeth that eats people. Fear, red balloon and clown were what left in my mind after watching this movie.

Manners maketh man.

And then I received call from my primary school friend, saying there were 2 extra tickets for "Kingsman: The Golden Circle". They were FREE, of course we grabbed and went for it, even though the time was rushing. We were so grateful (maybe we didn't show enough), the movie hadn't start when we reached 8+ p.m.. It should have started at 8 p.m. but thanks to the advertisement, it started around 8:30 p.m.. Needless to say, Kingsman is an amazing one. Their action scenes would just make you WOW. For this sequel, they focused mainly on the "drug" and how U.S. president handled the situation when the drug dealer distributed the poisonous drugs around the world. Found out that the president is a selfish person, he thinks that everyone who takes drugs isn't worth to save, so he locked them up in a stadium and let them go down together with the drug dealer. This is kind of a hero movie, so ended up Kingsman saved the world.

The sky recently is just too beautiful.

Actually I don't really remember the animation version, in fact I don't remember I ever watch that. But somehow I know how the story goes, and I wonder why the hell I know.

Basically, fairy tales are almost every girl's fantasies. No matter how the fairy tales being remade, I'm still loving them, especially the dancing scene, where the girl would wear the dress that every girl dreams of and the Prince would dress handsomely and they danced the perfect dance.

Fairy tales are not meant to be of common sense. Because there is no such perfect moment with perfect love in real life. But all these give us chance to live in fantasy once in a blue moon.

So what if when the beast returned to being human and is not a Prince charming but a fatty? Would you still choose him?

My Love, My Bride

This movie is portraying what most of the couples are nowadays.

I like the story on how they knew each other. The girl (MY) went for a speed dating. I think their dress code for the date was to dress in sky blue. She sat down to the table where the boy (YM) is seated. Maybe she was pretty and caught his attention because the name she called out wasn't his name. But they engaged in a conversation anyway as he didn't clarify. He then noticed there was a guy came into the cafe, wearing sky blue jacket. He half pushing the girl out of the cafe and when his friend chasing out from the cafe, he grabbed her hand and they started to run. That's how they knew each other.

Sometimes I ponder, fate is such a mysterious magic that bring love together.

And there's this part of the story... YM's poetry teacher died because of heart attack. He came home looking rather depressed. At the same time, MY was feeling unwell. But she made him dinner, she told him it was new recipe and asked how was it tastes like? He was being so frank - it was tasteless. He said he doesn't want dinner anymore and went back to his work. She then asked him whether she should go to doctor because she was having stomachache. She repeated twice but what she got was that she killed his idea on writing poetry. Things got worsen because he wasn't in good mood and she wasn't feeling well. She was lying in the sofa when he was going out to get some fresh air. He saw his stacks of poetry books that he brought back from his teacher's house earlier being moved to the foyer. This agitated him even more. He kept grumbling and ignored his wife groaning with pain in the sofa. He left the house by banging so hard on the door. She got no choice but to call her mother for help.

It's okay to be moody over whatever situation that gotten to you. But I think it's best to mention it beforehand. Who knows what you've been through for the whole day? It's okay if you don't feel like sharing, but at least you have to make sure the message of "today has been a tough day for me" deliver to the person that waited for you at home.

Like the one mentioned above, she's so innocent, knowing nothing and yet get all the tantrums he threw at her. At the end, of course they get back together. Because they were reminiscing how they get together at the first place.

To get into a relationship is easy, but to maintain one is tough. Because the longer you get used to that relationship, eventually you'll take things for granted. This is what humans are. And that is why there's this saying - appreciate things before you lose it.

Despite there were only 2 of us, we were too greedy for ordering 2 dishes. Too ambitious. HAHA! At the end, we couldn't finish the alfredo. Thus, we took away and serve as the next morning's breakfast.

- Louis told his love story between him and Gao Yuan Yuan to Miriam, and he used this sentence to describe Daniel. HAHA!

There was this funniest part of all, where 5 of them were confused with the relationship between themselves. I couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Although Louis acted as casa nova in this movie, he still loving Gao Yuan Yuan. No doubt. The moment he saw her from across the building (because she was helping Miriam to light up the LED lights when he was going to blow his birthday candle and she got electrocuted), he called her immediately, checking whether she was fine or not. And after that call, he welled up in tears. Since Gao Yuan Yuan broken up with him, he faced insomnia. One night, when he couldn't sleep, he drove around and reached the apartment she used to live in. He climbed into the room and found the advertisement stated to-let. It was early in the morning and he called the landlord said that he wanted to rent that place. Of course, he were being scolded for calling at such odd hour. He then sent a message to the landlord said he wanted to rent that place. For days since their relationship ended, he finally had a good sleep.

And deep down, Gao Yuan Yuan loves him too but at the same time hated him for being such a jerk. She lost control when they finally meet up in front of her house. In part I of this movie, she agreed to Daniel's proposal is because he treats her real good and she admires his talent. And maybe because Louis missed the right timing.

In part II, it's a HAPPY ending. Not a perfect one but yea... Felt kinda sad when Daniel ended up being alone, especially when the wedding hall just left him, drinking whiskey. WHY? :((

I guess if it's me, I would also fall for a guy that is not 100% perfect like Daniel but with a mixture of good&bad characteristics like Louis. I wouldn't say Daniel is not good, but he's too perfect, just like Louis said, he's from Martian. There will be girl that suits him too, just that, you know LOVE is all about TIMING.
**FYI, I'm still waiting miracle to befall on me. :X

One of the soundtrack - 沒那麽簡單, Vic sang a little in the ending (he sang to Miriam when he proposed to her), perfectly matches the theme of this movie!!!  ♡

- Interstellar -

I have always fond to know more about galaxies, constellation of stars...
And here, Christopher Nolan brought us his latest movie. Talks about mankind, the ending of the world and looking for a new habitat planet.

I.N.T.E.R.S.T.E.L.L.A.R

As expected from Christopher Nolan, the movies he directed evolve around time dimension. But I liked the theme. I'm fascinated with how Coop was brought into a fifth dimension and how he managed to give hints to Murph, telling her what to do in order to save the mankind. It gave me goosebumps.

I kept wondering how this movie will be ended. And as usual, the ending gave us some space to wonder about. Just like Inception too.

I thought study oversea is a fun thing. Never thought it would be so tiresome, worrying about social, study and even trips! Worst of all is that when bad things happened and you wouldn't call home knowing that by doing so will worry your parents. So you learned to swallow everything and talked as less as you can. Because, you are not those will explain yourselves even though it's not your fault. You wouldn't mind even if you were the one to blame. You think that it's okay as long as everyone is happy and you were the one who suffer. 

All these events definitely had made you a better person. And you survived them all. Good job, KY!

Story-telling session. After meeting up with these 2 friends of mine, I realised I'm such a failure in being their friends. I'm like didn't know them at all, but they know me well. 

Lesson learned. I now know that not everything that I see are the truth. Sometimes, they are just camouflage. To win over your trust. I feel sorry for not siding with Yvonne, because all the while I only saw it was the guy who did more things. Ended this relationship doesn't seem to be a bad thing. At least, I see she's happier now. Hope she'll meet someone that's right for her.  ≧◡≦

I thought world is as simple as I thought of. Never did I expect that the world is so complicated. :(

- Cinderella Stories -

TV had broadcast a 2009 Hong Kong film which namely <Look For A Star 游龍戯鳳>. It is a typical Cinderella story. I re-watched it as I dun quite remember how the story goes.

Synopsis:- 

It is love at first sight when Sam (Andy Lau) chances upon a feisty, fast-talking woman with the odd name of Milan (Shu Qi) at a Macau casino. But the catch is, she is a part-time Baccarat dealer and a full-time cabaret dancer, “careers” not exactly congruent with his station in life.

Besides the main couple, the other 2 couples created a funny circumstance in the movie. Anyway, I always like how Shu Qi's and Andy Lau's acting.


There is another film that Shu Qi acting in. The story line is about the same - a millionaire falling in love with an ordinary girl. It was a 2001 film and the main actor is Tony Leung.
<Love Me, Love My Money 有情飲水飽>

Synopsis:- 

Richard Ma (Tony Leung) is a tight fisted, mean and unpleasant character. He is also a wealthy businessman who has become increasingly bitter and mistrustful due to what he believes are the gold digging women in his life.

Following a series of events one weekend, Richard's financial assets are temporarily frozen, his house is looted by his bitter ex-girlfriend and he has no cash leaving him helpless and broke.

It is during this fateful weekend that he meets Choi (Shu Qi); a struggling stroke broker who is trying ward off the attentions of an unwanted suiter from her local village. By offering to help to Ah Choi in return for financial gain, a most surprising relationship develops between this unlikely pair.

And this one, recommended by my cousin was indeed a great one. It was a 2012 China film - <I Do 我願意>, starred by Li Bing Bing and Sun Hong Lei. Gosh, I like Sun Hong Lei. Dun get me wrong, he isn't those handsome or good-looking guy, but it's his voice that attracts me.  ♥

Synopsis:- 
Wang Yang (Duan Yi Hong) and Tang Wei Wei (Li Bing Bing) are couple when they are studying in university. They are like many young couples, face a lot of obstacles in realising their dreams. However, Wei Wei gets her position in the society quickly but Wang Yang does not give in to the reality. Wei Wei always 'educates' Wang Yang, in the hope that Wang Yang can be more realistic. He cannot defeat his low self-esteem and at last, he left Wei Wei without a word.

Several years later, Wei Wei had became a dragon lady of her workplace. Despite that, her love story does her no good and has remain single. Her friend, Le Xiao Ling set her up for speed dating through the internet but all along she is not satisfied with all the candidates that she met with. Yang Nian Hua (Sun Hong Lei) appeared as one of the candidates in front of her is a man who drives a cheap car and looking poor. Even though Wei Wei had good feeling towards him, she never consider him as a suitable man for marriage. And, Wang Yang reappeared, as a status of a CEO of a jewelry company. 

When u watch too much of these kind of love stories, u'll start imagine that u would somehow be the main actress in the movies. But to some people, they just need these to satisfy their fantasies. Plus, these are just movies. Why not? :D
