Nara 奈良
Nara, used to be one of the capital city of Japan. Well, let the photos below speak on behalf. :D
The street we entered once we got out from Nara Station.
Lunch. Tried their cold soba & oyako don.
Too full.
The set came with 2 main dishes. :X
Deer.
You may see deer everywhere.
They run wildly along the street.
Be careful, they might kick you.
Tōdai-ji (東大寺).
The period during which we went was good weather for field trip.
So all those tourist spots were full of people, especially students.
"People mountain, people sea"
Nandaimon.
A large wooden gate watched over by 2 fierce looking statues.
This is one of the statues.
You have to pay 500 yen before going in to see the Daibutsu.
Daibutsu den.
World's largest wooden building.
One of Japan's largest bronze statues of Buddha.
15 meters tall.
Magnificent right?
I feel autumn even though it was in the midst of spring.
Undeniably, you can see scenery everywhere in Japan.
Deer & high school students.
Lonesome deer.
More deer.
Sensei & her friend.
We couldn't catch up with them no matter how fast we walked.
We couldn't physically compare with them.
Hotel, I guess.
Those old Japanese style kind of ryoukan.
Forgotten what this temple called.
This tree is simply awesome.
It had a story.
As usual, I couldn't recall what the story was about.
An old old tree.
Kyoto 京都
I had to say - I wow-ed the most when I reached Kyoto.
The illumination of lights along the staircase above the Kyoto station.
You would hear BGM playing when the lights were illuminating.
In a cold, rainy day, a hot ramen was the best.
We ordered through this vendor machine.
I wow-ed again!
Overlooking Kyoto tower on the 10th floor of building of Kyoto station.
Variety of drinks that sold in their convenient shop.
p/s: Guess there'll be part 3 coming soon. Have to post bit by bit to relive the moments when I was in Japan travelling. Wanted to go again, so badly. :((
