- 家 Home -

Since I gotten my camera last October, I always have that thought - to capture everything that falls into the perfect angle with my camera.

The weather was so HOT and unbearable. Still, I got my camera and decided to go to the pedestrian bridge nearby my house to capture the beautiful sunset. I always love #sunset & the #sea. Dun ask me why, I can't even explain myself.

The view from the bridge.
I guess I went out too early. :(

The other side.

I just love this effect - miniature.

Under the bridge. :D

The playground nearby my house.

The swing.

Doggie.

I should have go to the bridge around 7pm.
Aih. But the view from the backyard of my house not bad too. :DD

When the sun dipped into the horizon...

Panorama view

Due to the HOT weather, mosquitoes are such a pain! I'm glad I did this photo-shooting.

Since I'm talking about home today, I had just finished a Japanese drama relating to "home" recently. The drama was starred by Kimura Takuya and Ueno Aya.

I'm Home アイムホーム

The story is about Kimu Taku lost his memory of recent 5/6 years in an accident. He had 10 keys with him but he had no idea what the keys are for. In his eyes, he saw both his wife and his son are wearing mask. He used to be a bad guy prior to his memory lost but he had changed 360° of his attitude and everyone around him was too shocked, some even think he's playing out the good guy scene. The drama evolved by how he eventually find out what the keys are for and how he finally get to see his wife's and son's real face.

To be frank, I never watched dramas that Kimu Taku starred in but I think this one is not bad.
Please watch the drama to find out more. :)

p/s: I can't imagine if one day I has to move out from this wonderful place that I had stayed since the day I was born. It's good to be home. :D

- Hiking @ Chilling Waterfall -

It's been 3 months since my last post.
Time flies as we grow older and this phenomenon is called zenosyne.

This video will give you a better insight. Haha.

And so, I realised - if there is something you wanted to do so much, just go ahead and do it. Because time doesn't wait.

Yea, I did crazy stuff and up till now is yet to confess to my mom. HAHA.

It was last Saturday - 04.07.15 - I was randomly being invited to a hiking session with my primary school friend, Pwen's friends. I was hesitated as whether to join or not. She said can bring along my friend, so I asked Cyen about it and the response I get from her was "yer, hou wai". Somehow expected but the answer still hit me. [Sensitive piece of shit, me] The day before departure, I only knew that I was not the only one being invited. Pwen's friend's bringing his friends too, a bunch of them. LOL. Sorry for using a bunch, but the situation had now became like we joined them instead of they joined us.

As usual, we followed Malaysia time. I reach Pwen's house by 7 a.m. The rest came around 7+ a.m. She told me we were going to depart sharp at 7.15 a.m. Dragging and stuff, we waited at petrol station nearby for her friend. Finally, we departed at 8 a.m. We went to Petronas station after getting through the first toll. Buying breakfast and toilet break.

That morning rained heavily, after the drought for so long. The sky was still ominous when we started our journey. Gradually, the ray of light broke through and it was such a beautiful sunrise. Unfortunately, I was sitting behind so I couldn't get the full view if I was to take photograph of it. Well, the best was kept in heart even without taking any photograph of it. The view was like what I saw on top of Mount. Sg Lembing - sea of clouds.

The first thing we did after we arrived @ Chilling Waterfall, Kuala Kubur Bahru was #groupfie.

From left: Viki, Shaun,Yvonne, Zhang Bin, Chun Hao, Yu Liang, Lam,
Wilson, Me, Elaine, Pei Wen, Esther, Jeen
(hope I got it right as I kept mixing up the girls' name)

We took several shots just to make sure our faces could all be seen and most importantly the entrance sign. We sauntered for a short route and reached a wide space with a pondok and toilets. Quickly registered ourselves and paid RM1 each for the entrance fee. From here started our adventure!

This is the wide space that I mentioned.
Didn't take the pondok into the photo.
Greenery~

I thought I took the photo of the bridge.
I actually took photo of the river on the bridge.
HAHAHA

Because total of us was 13 people, we couldn't afford to stop by and take photograph. We had to move as a team. HAHA. We continued from where we left - the ice-breaking - along the way.

The creature I hate the most in this world.
But still, I had took a photo of it - we were tourist ma.

We were soon reaching the first river. Crossing the river can be hectic and exhausted - the current and the rocks underneath that we could only feel instead of seeing it. It was great that we went there in a group. Everybody was helping one another. Few of the guys standing in the middle of the river helping us girls crossing with ease. :)

When we were closed to the second river, we heard scream. We quickly rushed forward and checked out what was happening. A guy (from the group of four) was being washed away by the current and the reason was ridiculous. I thought he was simply being washed away because the current was quite strong at the 2nd river. Who knows - the reason was he went to 'save' his shoes. Speechless. YL and Lam went to save him but he was too panicked to hold on to the stick that was delivered to him.

Luckily, everyone was safe. And we helped the group of four to cross the river too. Honestly, they didn't dress like coming for a hike. They were more like going to a beach. The girls were wearing bikinis! Another 3 more rivers and the roads were getting a little bit tougher to walk on.

FINALLY, we reached the destination! Photo-taking time!

The fall.
Magnificent right?

I saw my initial!

She was eating and I taking #wefie.

The stream.

#wefie part II

We were photo-bombed by 2 Indian uncles.

(Y)

Okay, so the crazy thing I did was I jumped off the cliff - the one next to the fall. We were so excited climbing up the cliff but never think of how to get down from there. Despite the fact that I do not know how to swim - I actually know, but I guess it's about the mentally trauma thing that makes me panic - I still jumped, bravely. Of course I won't do such reckless thing, I trust my newly-made friends would save me. LOL. Betting my life on their hands. So, yea. It was super deep, I couldn't even stand in the water. There was about 30cm when I got into the water. Panic started kicking in and I felt myself started to drink water. The feeling of suffocating, drowning... When I thought I was gonna lose my conscious, I caught a hand. I kept dragging the hand down with me as I couldn't stand on the ground. Sorry, life savior, making you drink the muddy water with me. :/ And thanks! :D

As I was to get out from the pool, I made an eye contact with someone I was familiar with. I thought he was my high school friend. Until we finally meet on the ground, and Pwen came around and said he's Li Kai. Oh shit! I just shouted out my high school friend's name. :O

Here he is.
Because this photo was taken with my camera, he offered to become the monopod selfie stick.

The view when we heading back out.

Tourist-kind of shot. HAHA

Last but not least, the weather was so GOOD and I captured a shot of goldfish cloud.

Anticipating the next outing with these people, hope they do not think I'm a nuisance who did crazy things. They kept teasing me with the jumping-off-cliff-event.

p/s: When can I go out and enjoy such a good day again? :')
