Happy Meh Meh Year!
I missed those days when we have to get up real early to rush back to my mom's hometown in Chor 2. CNY these days are just normal day for me. Because we don't go visit other people's house unless we got invited, nor we got any kampung that we can go back to. Just that I get extra pocket money from the elders, that's it. Nothing more that I can describe how I celebrate CNY.
Somehow feel lonely in this festive season. I'm not a Hokkien, so I'm not looking forward to "bai tian gong". And people said to "shou sui" - stay up for the night - at CNY's eve, it's a blessing for the elders so that they can be healthy & live longer life. Well, people gamble at that night, but I only have one sis. Takkan both of us stay up late gamble with one another, how boring. Yea, we did "shou sui", instead of gamble, we watched movie that showed on TV - Unbeatable by Nick Cheung.
Today is already Friday, 2 more days to end my CNY and I'm dreaded to go back to work. I dun like my current task. I seem to be an escapist.
